RSC are recruiting for a Waking Night support worker to work with children and young people 5-18 years old with social, emotional and complex needs at Waltham Abbey.
 
Requirements

  • To provide high quality, person-centred care to our Children and Young People often involving an understanding of a broad range of often complex social, emotional and recreational needs
  • Attend LAC reviews/ PEPs/ YOS/ ECHP and other forums where residents’ needs are being considered
  • Undertake a rota-based system of shifts thus ensuring the children and young people have Young Person’s Support Workers with them over a 24-hour period. (There may be occasional sleep in duties//waking night duties but these will be requests and will be compensated)
  • To meet the individual care and support needs of the Child and Young Person using the service in a way that promotes, dignity, privacy, safety and independence
