Children’s Home Manager-Romford, Greater London, £33,000-£38,000per annum

RSC are looking for Children’s Home Manager to start as soon as possible. The role will require you to have experience of managing Semi Independent (4 Bed) Children’s home. The successful candidate must have:
 

Requirements

  • Experience of managing the home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies and the Statement of Purpose for the home
  • To support staff to achieve the highest standards of support for the young people
  • To co-ordinate and monitor casework and administrative functions of the home and evaluate standards of performance
  • To be involved in recruitment of staff including vetting, interviewing, HR processes and inducting new employees
  • Liaise with the various internal and external multi-disciplinary teams and commissioning authorities to ensure that the care needs of new and existing residents are met

Children’s Residential Manager,£38,000 – £45,000/annum, Waltham Abbey

RSC are looking for Children’s Residential Registered Manager to start as soon as possible. The role will require you to have experience of managing children’s home (3 Bed). The successful candidate must have:
 

Requirements

  • Experience of managing an Ofsted Registered Residential Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies and the Statement of Purpose for the home
  • Promote and actively encourage the delivery of a safe, structured and nurturing environment, promoting the young person’s independence and developing their life skills
  • To support staff to achieve the highest standards of care for the young people
  • To co-ordinate and monitor casework and administrative functions of the home and evaluate standards of performance
  • To assist and supervise in the continual assessment of the needs of the children and young people and to identify and prepare specific development plans to ensure the most appropriate service provision
